This is a great starter bat box. Being only 19-inches tall and 13-inches wide it fits into a smaller space and makes less of a statement. This bat box has only one chamber, but it still has all the features a bat box needs, including:
- Exterior painted black to keep box warm
- 3/4-inch thick wood to help insulate the box
- Joints calked to further insulate the box and keep it weatherproof
- Large landing pad to give bats lots of room to enter and exit the box
- Grip: 1/4-inch spaced grooves on interior spaces and landing area
- Ventilation slot in the front to regulate temperature
- 3/4-inch wide chamber
- Hanging system included

Placement:
Hang 10-20 feet high on a building or pole facing east or south for maximum sun exposure, and at least 10-20 feet from the nearest tree to give bats lots of room for entering and exiting the box.
